Alexis graduated Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, CA in 1997. He then attended St. Mary's College of California, and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Honors Finance, and obtained a Minor in Communication. Alexis played tennis for the Gaels and helped create the men's club water polo team. After obtaining his degree, Alexis worked as an analyst for Dresdner RCM Global Investors (now known as RCM) in San Francisco, where is earned his Series 7 securities license. In the summer of 2003, he decided to join the Real Estate industry as a real estate loan consultant in Walnut Creek.
